Bobbie Lee Wolfe, CPA – Founding Shareholder
Bobbie has many years of experience in public accounting, including five years as a chief financial officer. He has been a certified public accountant since 1960, after graduating Magna Cum Laude from Abilene Christian University in 1959. His past experiences also include serving as president of the Abilene chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs, the Abilene Estate Planning Council, and he was also on the Texas Society Board of Directors for a four-year term.
Bobbie’s areas of interest currently lie in management, tax, financial planning for businesses, family business succession, and reduction of federal, state, and income taxes. He has also represented clients before the IRS.
Richard B. Wolfe, CPA – Shareholder
Richard has been a CPA since 1983, after graduating from Abilene Christian University in 1982. He has served on the Texas Society's Advisory Services Curriculum Committee as well as the Board of Directors. He has served as treasurer of several organizations, including the Abilene Chapter of the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies.
Richard's current areas of interest include assisting a variety of small businesses, including oil and gas companies, with accounting systems, tax planning and compliance, as well as assisting individuals with tax services.
Mark W. Hudson, CPA – Shareholder
Mark graduated with honors from Hardin-Simmons University in 1985 and was presented with the Accounting Excellence Award that year by the Texas Society of CPAs. Upon graduation, he began his career in public accounting and joined Wolfe and Company shortly after in 1988. He has served on several boards in the community, including his position of past president of the Abilene Chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs.
Mark's current areas of interest include tax planning for both individuals and businesses, estate planning, financial reporting compliance, and accounting services for a variety of industries.
Bobbie Wolfe and the late Neil Roberson established Wolfe and Company in 1973 with a staff of three. Now, we’ve grown to house a staff of 15, including ten CPAs. To this day, our emphasis remains on providing quality and affordable accounting, financial planning, and tax services for individuals and small businesses. Since our start, we’ve also added succession planning and estate planning to our repertoire.
Wolfe and Company, PC has successfully participated in the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants peer review program since its inception. Our firm is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. All of our CPAs meet or exceed the required 40 hours of continuing education each year in a variety of topics to ensure our clients get the most up-to-date advice and planning tools.
